La bióloga Estela Delgado, docente del Cure, habló con #elÓMNIBUS sobre el trabajo que realizan en el humedal del Arroyo Maldonado.
Destacó que los humedales «son protegidos en todo el mundo» y que éste es uno de los más grandes, con unas 13 mil hectáreas.
También hizo énfasis en la importante labor que cumple el humedal en nuestro ecosistema, filtrando y mejorando la calidad del agua que llega a las playas.
